Life Matters Journal by the numbers

So we took a cue from our friends at Secular Pro-Life and thought we'd share a little bit about our relationship with YOU!

We recently topped 300 "likes" on our Facebook page -- which isn't a whole lot, but it gives us hope! Here's a little look at our demographics.

Just about 60% of our Facebook membership is female, which doesn't surprise me an ounce because as I have experienced, more of the people involved in pro-life and peace and justice work are female, even and especially among young leaders. This puts roughly 40% of our membership with the men, who we are so glad do not step down from these hard issues, especially because life is a human rights issue -- not a women's issue!

Of course, I have to mention that the majority of our membership comes from the 18-24 age group, which also coincides with the majority of Facebook users, but it goes to show that our pull is strong with youth!

And while our main base is certainly in the US, we have over 10% of our membership from other countries! Like our readership from our last LMJ issue (2.2), our reach is beyond the borders where we began, and we're glad to say that we're helping to educate and mobilize people from all over the world.

All of us at LMJ are so grateful for your ongoing support for our work and our mission. Please share our Facebook page with your friends, and help us to perpetuate peace and all life for generations to come.
